Description
The PreSonus AIR12 is a 1,200W active 12" loudspeaker with user-friendly signal processing accessible through a bright LCD display on the rear panel. A Class D amplifier drives the 12" low-frequency driver, while a Class AB amplifier powers the 1.35" high-frequency driver for smooth, natural-sounding highs. Sold individually as a single unit.
DSP and Tuning
Performance presets tailor the speaker for front-of-house, wedge placement, music playback, enhanced low end, and improved speech intelligibility. Onboard EQ controls with +/-10 dB bass and treble adjustment let you shape the sound to your room. Location presets optimize performance for stand or bracket mounting and flown installations.
Inputs and Outputs
Two combo XLR/TRS line inputs each have a Class A microphone preamp with gain control. A 1/8" aux input accommodates mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. The internal mixer feeds a balanced XLR mix output for daisy-chaining to other AIR-series speakers.
