Description
The PreSonus AIR XD Sub 18 is an active 18" subwoofer suited for both mobile systems and fixed installations. Its 18" woofer with a 3" voice coil is powered by 2,000W of Class D amplification, delivering deep bass down to 33 Hz with output levels up to 130 dB. Advanced onboard DSP with a full-color display makes setup and tuning fast and intuitive.
DSP and System Integration
A variable lowpass filter (60 Hz - 150 Hz) enables fine-tuning of crossover points for smooth transitions to full-range mains. Presets for AIR XD full-range loudspeakers ensure plug-and-play integration. Onboard alignment delay and array presets allow quick configuration of ground-stacked or end-fire subwoofer arrays.
Wireless and Connectivity
Two XLR/1/4" combo inputs with direct outputs provide flexible signal routing. Built-in Bluetooth with TWS Bridge Mode enables wireless audio streaming and stereo pairing with a second speaker.
Enclosure and Transport
The 15mm tour-grade wood enclosure includes ergonomic side handles, integrated caster mounts, and ground-stacking provisions. A 1.5mm steel grille protects the driver. The included caster kit makes transport easy.
