Description
The PreSonus AIR XD Sub 15 is an active 15" subwoofer designed for both mobile setups and permanent installations. Its 15" low-frequency driver with a 3" voice coil is powered by a 2,000W Class D amplifier, producing clean bass down to 32 Hz with output levels up to 128 dB. Advanced onboard DSP with a full-color display provides intuitive control and precise metering.
DSP and System Integration
A variable lowpass filter (60 Hz - 150 Hz) allows fine-tuning of the crossover point for seamless transition to full-range tops. Custom presets simplify system optimization for different venue sizes. Onboard alignment delay and array presets support ground-stacked and end-fire subwoofer configurations.
Wireless and Connectivity
Two XLR/1/4" combo inputs and direct outputs accommodate a range of signal paths. Integrated Bluetooth with TWS Bridge Mode allows wireless stereo playback when paired with a second speaker.
Enclosure and Transport
The durable 15mm wood enclosure includes ergonomic side handles, ground-stacking provisions, and built-in hardware for the included caster kit. A 1.5mm steel grille protects the driver.
