Description
The Pioneer DJ VM-80 is the largest monitor in the VM series, pairing an 8" aramid fiber woofer with 100W of dedicated low-frequency amplification for full-range bass response down to 35 Hz. Designed for producers and DJs with dedicated studio rooms who want deep, accurate low-end without a separate subwoofer, it delivers reference-quality playback through balanced XLR/TRS inputs and 96 kHz DSP processing.
Sound & DSP
The 8" woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter are each driven by dedicated Class D amplifiers (100W LF, 30W HF). Internal 96 kHz DSP handles crossover filtering, room EQ, and a switchable sound profile between flat studio response and a bass-forward club curve. The large rear-ported cabinet moves enough air to represent sub-bass frequencies that smaller monitors cannot.
