Description
The Pioneer DJ VM-50 is an active 2-way studio monitor designed for DJs and producers who need accurate playback in small to medium rooms. Unlike Pioneer DJ's DM desktop series (consumer-oriented with RCA/3.5mm inputs), the VM-50 offers balanced XLR/TRS connectivity and a wider frequency range (40 Hz to 36 kHz) for critical listening during production sessions.
Sound & DSP
A 5.25" aramid fiber woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter are each driven by dedicated Class D amplifiers (30W LF, 30W HF) with 96 kHz internal DSP processing. Two sound modes let you switch between flat studio response for mixing and a punchier club-style curve for DJ practice. A 3-position room EQ compensates for desk-boundary bass buildup.
