Description
The Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX is a professional on-ear DJ headphone weighing 136 g without cable. Its 35 mm drivers use a PEEK-PU-PEEK composite film diaphragm and bass reflex chambers for tight, full-range monitoring from 5 Hz to 30 kHz. The stainless steel headband uses a ladder-like structure for flexibility and stress resistance.
Sound
The composite diaphragm handles up to 2,000 mW of input power. Bass reflex chambers in the housings reinforce low-frequency response, and sound insulators provide isolation from booth noise for precise beat-matching.
Build
Despite its light weight, the HDJ-CX is built to touring standards. All components, including the steel-core headband, have passed Pioneer DJ's durability tests and the US Military Standard MIL-STD-810H Shock test.
