The PETROF Instrument Pack contains two virtual grand pianos: the PETROF 284 Mistral and the ANT. PETROF 275. Both physically modeled instruments for Pianoteq are authorized by PETROF and faithfully capture the distinctive PETROF sound. Each instrument offers a wide range of presets, providing a beautiful palette of timbres suitable for all musical styles.
PETROF 284 Mistral
The PETROF 284 Mistral is the company’s masterpiece concert grand, measuring 2.84?m in length. Celebrated for its powerful bass and resonant treble, it is a trusted companion for performing the most demanding works. Its soft, romantic tone is characteristic of all PETROF grand pianos, now enhanced by Pianoteq 9’s new audio engine for richer, evolving resonance and enhanced spatial depth.
ANT. PETROF 275
The ANT. PETROF 275 is the flagship concert grand, designed to convey authority in large concert halls. Its colorful, romantic, and rounded tone reflects PETROF’s use of first-class materials and the craftsmanship passed down since AntonÃn Petrof built his first grand piano in 1864. Pianoteq 9 enhances the instrument with evolving, organic tones, and refreshed Binaural presets provide an immersive headphone experience. Expressive "Sombre" presets offer silken, emotive tones ideal for cinematic and dynamic playing.
