You'll have intuitive control of key production and performance functions in Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Bitwig and Ardour with no setup required, plus essential mixer, transport and navigation control for other major DAWs via Mackie HUI.

Play, launch and perform

16 velocity-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch let you play drums and instruments, launch clips and scenes, and work with grids. Eight encoders and nine faders give you tactile control over your mix, instruments and effects, and user mappings let you build custom control surfaces with Novation Components.

Stay in key, effortlessly

Powerful built-in creative tools make musical ideas flow. An editable Arpeggiator gets melodies moving fast, three Chord Modes trigger progressions with one finger, and Scale Mode keeps you on the right notes. The Chord Detector shows exactly what chord you're playing on the OLED display.

Split and layer

Split divides the keyboard into two independent zones, and Layer lets two MIDI channels be played simultaneously from the same keys — ideal for splitting bass and lead, or stacking sounds for bigger performances.

Connect to your whole setup

A full-size five-pin MIDI output connects Launchkey 88 directly to synths and other MIDI hardware, and it works with your iPhone or iPad too. Launchkey is also compatible with all Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) plugins for a seamless connection to your Native Instruments software.
