Description
The Bass Station II Swifty Edition is a limited-edition version of Novation's Bass Station II paraphonic analogue synthesiser, reimagined with a custom white-and-blue colourway by British graphic designer Ian "Swifty" Swift. It ships with 60 new artist patches from Legowelt, Pecq, and Maria Chiara Argiro, in addition to the standard 64 factory patches. The hardware and sound engine are identical to the standard Bass Station II.

Analogue Signal Path
Two tuneable, syncable analogue oscillators with four waveforms each, plus a sub-oscillator for low end and adjustable portamento. Two dedicated LFOs with four waveforms provide modulation. Two distinct analogue filters: the state-variable Classic Filter and a separate low-pass Acid Filter, controlled via the extra-large cutoff knob, with dedicated filter overdrive and post-filter distortion.
Sequencer and Arpeggiator
A 32-step sequencer stores four separate sequences of notes, ties, rests, and rhythms. The arpeggiator includes dedicated controls for shaping patterns and a swing function. Both work in standalone mode without a computer.
