Description
The MB RB Kilimanjaro F1 5 is a 5-string bass that Markbass designed and refined step by step with Richard Bona. Its body is Val di Fiemme spruce, a wood luthiers have used for centuries on bowed instruments, with an Abruzzo olive top.
The electronics use Volume, Volume and Tone controls with an active/passive switch on the Tone pot, plus active Bass, Mid and Treble. The Tone control also works in passive mode. Each bass is made in Italy with an artisan process, so wood and small details vary from piece to piece, and it comes with a label listing its body, neck and fingerboard woods.
