Description
The MB Instrument Pre is the onboard 3-band preamp that Markbass fits to its own basses, sold on its own for your bass. It is small enough for most control cavities and keeps the detail of your tone even at extreme EQ settings.
The volume changes very little when you switch between passive and active. It runs on 9V or 18V and draws about 700 uA at 9V, so a battery lasts a long time. It can be wired in many ways, such as volume/blend/3-band EQ or volume/volume/3-band EQ.
