Description
The Lee Oskar Major Diatonic is the standard 10-hole harmonica tuning for blues, rock, country, folk and jazz. It has the same note layout as every other major diatonic harp and plays in 1st position (straight harp) for melodies and folk music, or in 2nd position (cross harp), the draw-note style most players use today for blues and rock.
Every Lee Oskar harmonica is made by Tombo in Japan, with brass reed plates screwed to a plastic comb and stainless steel cover plates. When the reeds wear out, replacement reed plates in the same key bring the harp back for about half the cost of a new one.
