The Korg SV-2 88-Key Stage Vintage Piano delivers the sounds of classic keyboards through 72 carefully sampled and modeled instruments drawn from decades of electric pianos, acoustic pianos, clavinets, and organs. Built around Korg's RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer Action 3) keybed with 88 keys, the SV-2 is designed for performers who need authentic vintage tone and responsive touch on stage.
Vintage Sound Collection
72 sounds cover the most sought-after keyboard voices from the 1960s through today. Multiple electric piano models capture the nuance of tine-based and reed-based instruments, with adjustable parameters that let you dial in everything from mellow ballad tones to aggressive bark. Acoustic pianos range from bright concert grands to warm uprights. Clavinets, Wurlitzers, organs, and string machines round out the collection, giving you a comprehensive vintage keyboard rig in a single instrument.
Tube-Driven Effects
The SV-2 series features three independent effects sections, each with a dedicated control knob for real-time tweaking during performance. At the heart of the effects chain is Korg's Nutube vacuum tube circuit, a miniaturized triode tube that adds genuine tube warmth, compression, and harmonic saturation to your sound. Pre-effects, modulation, and ambience/reverb sections let you shape each sound from subtle warmth to dramatic coloration.
Performance Features
A favorites section provides instant recall of your most-used sounds during live sets. The panel layout prioritizes speed and simplicity: large backlit buttons, dedicated transpose and octave controls, and a master EQ section let you make adjustments mid-song without diving into menus.
