Description
The Korg Poetry Magnifique is the premium evolution of Korg's Chopin-inspired Poetry series, pairing the EvoTone power system with meticulously sampled Italian concert grand and 1843 Pleyel piano sounds. Solid wood side panels enhance both structural rigidity and acoustic resonance, while the refined Poetic Brown wood-grain exterior with red felt accents pays homage to 19th-century craftsmanship. Made in Japan.
Sound & EvoTone
The EvoTone internal power system delivers exceptional depth and dynamic range, preserving the subtlest musical details during gentle passages. The Italian concert grand offers brilliant clarity for modern repertoire, while the 1843 Pleyel (80-key range, 430 Hz tuning option) faithfully reproduces the warm, resonant character Chopin would have experienced. 30 sounds across three banks, 120-note polyphony, and studio-grade brilliance, reverb, and chorus effects round out the tonal palette.
Keyboard & Performance
The RH3 Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 keyboard delivers graduated weight across 88 keys, replicating the heavier bass and lighter treble of a grand piano. Five touch-curve settings (light, normal, heavy, stable, fixed) tailor the response to your playing style. Three pedals with half-damper support enable full expressive control. 50 built-in Chopin masterpieces and 23 printed scores are included for study and enjoyment.
