Description
The Korg Pa5X-61 Oriental is the Middle Eastern and Oriental edition of Korg's flagship arranger, adding a comprehensive library of Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and regional sounds and styles to the Pa5X platform. The EDS-XP engine with 160-voice polyphony powers over 2,200 sounds (including the Oriental expansion), 600+ styles with dedicated Middle Eastern arrangements, and an 8-inch tiltable touchscreen. Quarter-tone tuning and maqam scale support enable authentic performance of traditional music. XLR mic with phantom power, guitar input, TC Helicon harmonizer, and HDMI video output complete the package.
Oriental Sound Library
The expanded sound set includes oud, qanun, ney, buzuq, mijwiz, tabla, darbuka, riq, and dozens of additional Middle Eastern, North African, and Turkish instruments. Dedicated Oriental styles cover Arabic pop, Khaliji, Egyptian, Turkish, Persian, and Levantine genres with authentic rhythmic patterns and arrangement structures. Quarter-tone and maqam tuning tables allow precise intonation for traditional music performance.
Vocal and Guitar Processing
The built-in TC Helicon vocal harmonizer adds up to four harmony voices following your accompaniment chord progression. The XLR mic input with switchable 48V phantom power accepts condenser and dynamic microphones. A dedicated guitar input feeds the onboard guitar effects processor. HDMI video output displays lyrics and chord charts on external monitors. 16 Matrix Pads trigger samples and style controls.
