Description
The Korg Pa5X-61 is Korg's flagship professional arranger keyboard, powered by the EDS-XP sound engine with 160-voice polyphony. Over 2,200 sounds, 600+ styles, and an 8-inch tiltable color touchscreen deliver studio-quality production for live performance, songwriting, and recording. An XLR microphone input with phantom power, a dedicated guitar input, a TC Helicon 4-voice vocal harmonizer, and a guitar effects processor make it a complete live performance system. The aluminum chassis with wooden side panels communicates professional quality.
Sound Engine and Arranging
The EDS-XP engine delivers 2,200+ sounds with 160-voice polyphony, covering acoustic instruments, synthesizers, ethnic sounds, and drum kits. Over 600 styles provide complete band arrangements across pop, rock, jazz, Latin, country, dance, and world genres. Each style contains multiple variations, fills, intros, and endings. 16 Matrix Pads trigger samples, sound effects, and style controls in real time. HDMI video output displays lyrics and chord charts on external monitors.
Vocal and Guitar Processing
The built-in TC Helicon vocal harmonizer adds up to four harmony voices following the chord progression of your accompaniment. The XLR mic input with switchable 48V phantom power accepts condenser and dynamic microphones. A dedicated guitar input feeds the onboard guitar effects processor with amp modeling, distortion, chorus, delay, and reverb. Both processors integrate seamlessly with the arranger engine.
