Description
The Korg Nautilus 88 is a professional music workstation combining nine sound engines from Korg's Kronos lineage with 88 RH3 Real Weighted Hammer Action keys. Over 2,200 programs, a 7-inch TouchView display, 16-track MIDI and 16-track audio sequencing, and a 60GB SSD deliver complete production capability. The fully weighted keyboard with wooden side panels makes it equally suited for piano performance and studio production.
Nine Sound Engines
SGX-2 Premium Piano delivers German and Japanese grand piano samples at full 88-key stereo depth. EP-1 MDS Electric Piano recreates classic tine and reed instruments. HD-1 High Definition PCM provides orchestral, pads, guitars, basses, and drums. AL-1 Analog Modeling produces virtual analog synths with continuous waveform morphing. CX-3 Tonewheel Organ models drawbar organs with rotary speaker simulation. STR-1 Plucked String uses physical modeling. MOD-7 VPM/FM produces FM synthesis textures. MS-20EX and PolysixEX add legacy Korg analog character.
Sequencer and Recording
The 16-track MIDI sequencer records up to 400,000 notes with full editing on the TouchView display. A separate 16-track audio recorder captures WAV files directly to the internal 60GB SSD. KARMA technology generates musical phrases and arpeggios that respond to your playing in real time. Set Lists organize sounds and sequences for fast recall during live performance.
