Description
The Korg i3 is an accessible 61-key music workstation with 790 sounds, 59 drum kits, and 210 built-in accompaniment styles that cover genres from pop and rock to jazz and Latin. Built-in speakers let you play anywhere without external amplification, and battery power (6x AA) frees you from AC outlets. USB MIDI connectivity integrates the i3 with DAW software for music production. The velocity-sensitive keyboard responds to playing dynamics for expressive performance.
Sounds and Styles
790 sounds include grand pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, brass, synthesizers, guitars, and basses sampled from Korg's professional sound library. 59 drum kits provide acoustic, electronic, and world percussion. 210 accompaniment styles generate full band arrangements responding to chord input from the left hand. Style variations, fills, intros, and endings build complete song structures in real time.
Features
Built-in stereo speakers provide immediate sound without external amplification. A headphone output allows private practice. USB MIDI connectivity sends and receives note data with computers and mobile devices. Song mode records and plays back performances. The metronome and transpose functions support practice and rehearsal workflows. Battery operation from six AA cells provides portable use.
