Battery operation and built-in speakers maintain the portable, play-anywhere philosophy of the EK-50 family.

790 sounds span grand pianos, electric pianos, organs, orchestral instruments, synths, guitars, basses, and world instruments. The doubled speaker amplification produces fuller bass response and higher volume levels compared to the standard EK-50. Accompaniment styles generate complete band arrangements responding to chord input, with intros, fills, variations, and endings for professional song structures.
