Description
The Korg E1 Air is a premium Japanese-made console digital piano featuring the EvoTone power system, 88 RH3 weighted keys, and two Italian concert grand piano samples. Its matte black flat-top cabinet (just 34.9 cm deep) conceals the instrument as contemporary furniture, while 40W x 2 speakers with 12 cm drivers deliver concert-level dynamics. Bluetooth audio streaming and USB MIDI/audio complete a modern feature set.
Sound & EvoTone
The newly developed EvoTone power system reduces noise floor and enhances dynamic range, allowing the full character of each sound to emerge. Two Italian concert grand piano samples anchor 30 sounds across three banks. Damper resonance and key-off simulation add acoustic realism. Studio-grade brilliance, reverb, and chorus effects (three levels each) are automatically matched to each preset. 120-note polyphony supports complex pedaled passages.
Design & Features
The flat-top lid and matte black finish present as a console table when closed. A soft-close key cover protects the keyboard. Bluetooth A2DP streams audio from phones and tablets through the built-in speakers. A two-track recorder stores up to 99 songs. Layer, split, and partner modes expand creative and teaching applications. 50 demo songs (10 sound demos + 40 piano pieces) provide listening and practice material.
