Description
The IsoAcoustics V120 is an aluminum ceiling and wall mount that carries a studio monitor weighing up to 40 lbs (18.1 kg) while keeping it isolated from the structure. Fixing a monitor rigidly to a wall or ceiling turns the cavity behind it into part of the speaker; the V120 breaks that path, reducing both the energy driven into the structure and the vibration conducted back into the cabinet.
Aiming the Monitor
The mount gives 360 degrees of horizontal rotation and up to 90 degrees of tilt, so a monitor can face forward or straight down and be angled onto the listening position from either. A 4" ceiling plate is included for fixing directly to a ceiling or other flat surface.
Mounting Options
Removing the ceiling plate opens up the rest of the system. The V120 attaches to the IsoAcoustics Wall Bracket, to unistrut channel using M10 channel nuts, to round truss using the IsoAcoustics Truss Clamps, to extruded truss using slide in M10 T-nuts, and to third party telescopic ceiling and wall mounts from Adam Audio and Neumann using the Keyhole Adapter. The speaker itself connects through the L-Bracket, C-Bracket or U-Bracket Adapter. All brackets and adapters are sold separately.

Speaker Compatibility
The V120 fits monitors with threaded inserts on the rear panel, or monitors with side inserts that have a U bracket available. Rear insert patterns must either match the bracket spacing of 2.75" to 3" vertical (70 to 76 mm) or match one of the V120 adapters. Where the speaker uses a U bracket, the combined weight of speaker and bracket must stay within 40 lbs (18.1 kg); the weight of V120 brackets and adapters does not count toward the limit.
