IsoAcoustics OREA Graphite Audio Component Isolator (Single)

The IsoAcoustics OREA Graphite is a machined stainless steel isolation foot for high fidelity audio components, rated at 4 lbs (1.8 kg) per unit. It suits the lightest components, such as DACs, streamers, phono stages and small disc players. OREA feet are sold individually so you can match the number of contact points to the weight and balance of the component, and the Graphite ring on the lower isolator identifies the model at a glance.

How the OREA Works

The upper flange creates a suction cup effect against the underside of the component while the lower flange adheres to the shelf, so the energy is managed inside the core of the isolator rather than passing into the rack. Each model is tuned for a specific weight range, which is why staying inside the rated capacity matters more than the number of feet used.

Using OREA Feet in Multiples

Total capacity is the per-unit rating multiplied by the number of feet. IsoAcoustics recommends a minimum of three per component: three Graphite feet carry 12 lbs (5.4 kg) and four carry 16 lbs (7.2 kg). Where a component is heavier at the rear, a common arrangement is two feet at the back corners and one front center. The feet can sit around the existing feet, beside them, or the original feet can be removed so the OREA contacts the chassis directly.
