Description
The IsoAcoustics GAIA III Neo is a single dark chrome isolation foot for smaller floor standing speakers and subwoofers, sold on its own to replace a lost or damaged foot or to add a contact point to a cabinet that needs one. Each foot carries up to 17.5 lbs (8 kg), so a full set of four supports up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
Isolation Design
Only the lower isolator touches the floor, so energy passes through the internal isolator instead of the metal housing, which removes the rigid path for vibration into the floor and limits reflections back into the cabinet. Rotating the lower ring raises or lowers the foot by up to 0.34" (8.5 mm) without changing its alignment, so the speaker can be levelled after installation.
Installation
- Thread the adapter that matches your speaker into the base in place of the existing spike or foot.
- Screw the isolator onto the adapter until the O-ring compresses against the speaker, with the IsoAcoustics logo facing the front.
- Rotate the lower ring to level the speaker.
