Description
A set of four black top caps with compression washers for IsoAcoustics GAIA III Neo isolators (sold separately). The cap covers the O-ring channel, compression washer and exposed thread at the top of the isolator for a cleaner finish, and it gives the washer a proper seat when the speaker's base offers little contact area. Isolation still comes from the GAIA Neo itself.
Installation
- Install the thread adapter that matches your speaker and remove the O-ring from the GAIA Neo.
- Place the compression washer inside the cap.
- Set the cap and washer on the GAIA Neo, inside the O-ring channel, then thread the isolator into the speaker.
- The cap uses some thread length: about 6 mm (1/4") of engagement remains with the standard adapter. GAIA Neo x20 thread adapters (20 mm) are recommended for most cap installations.
