Description
The Golden Age Project R1 ST is a passive stereo ribbon microphone with two 50 mm, 2-micron aluminum ribbon sections fixed in a classic Blumlein (crossed figure-8) array. One mic captures a wide stereo image of the source and the room for choirs, drums, horns, strings, and acoustic ensembles. Either side can also be used alone for mono. Transformer-balanced outputs add warm, punchy character, and 160 dB max SPL keeps it usable on loud sources. A detachable cable feeds a splitter box with separate left and right XLR outs.
