Description
The Golden Age Project FC3 is a multi-pattern large-diaphragm FET condenser with a 28 mm, 3 μm gold-sputtered dual capsule, discrete Class-A electronics, and a brass body. Switchable cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 patterns plus external high-pass and pad controls cover vocals, choirs, guitars, drum overheads, and room miking in the studio or on stage.
Patterns and Controls
Changing polar pattern alters room pickup, proximity effect, and tonal balance without swapping mics. An external high-pass filter and -10 dB pad handle rumble and hot sources. The capsule sits on an internal shock mount; a spider shock mount is included. Requires 48 V phantom.
