Description
The Genelec W371A is an adaptive woofer system designed exclusively to extend the bass performance of The Ones coaxial monitors (8341A, 8351B, 8361A). Featuring a 356 mm and a 305 mm driver powered by dual 400W Class D amplifiers, the W371A adds powerful, controlled low-frequency extension with 120 dB of output. Unlike a conventional subwoofer, the W371A is calibrated as part of the satellite monitor via GLM, maintaining point-source coherence while extending the system's bass response down to 23 Hz.
Adaptive Bass Extension
- Dual-driver design: 356 mm (14") + 305 mm (12") drivers provide smooth, controlled bass extension
- Directional bass technology: GLM calibration can steer low-frequency output to reduce room mode excitation
- Seamless integration: Calibrated as a unit with its paired Ones monitor, maintaining coherent imaging
- Orientation flexibility: Designed for horizontal placement beneath or beside The Ones monitors
SAM (Smart Active Monitoring)
The W371A connects via GLM network and is calibrated together with its paired monitor. GLM software manages the crossover, room correction, and alignment between the woofer system and the satellite, ensuring phase-coherent summation and accurate bass response.
