Description
The Genelec 9401A System Management Device for Audio-over-IP Networking works by converting AoIP streams (ST2110, AES67, and Ravenna) into AES/EBU outputs, providing 16 channels of digital audio over the unit's DB-25 connector.
The 9401A features a dedicated subwoofer AES output and a flexible auxiliary stereo AES output. The converter is fully compatible with Genelec's UNIO Platform, which supports bridging in-room and personal headphone monitoring with maximal accuracy. It also offers full support for room adaption from the company's powerful Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software.
Note: The 9401A is compatible with all Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers (SAM) except the 8320A.
