Description

The Genelec 1237A is a 3-way SAM main monitoring system featuring a 305 mm bass driver, 125 mm midrange, and 25 mm tweeter powered by 950W of amplification. Designed for medium to large professional control rooms, mastering suites, and post-production facilities, the 1237A delivers 118 dB of output with extension to 32 Hz. SAM technology with GLM calibration ensures reference-grade accuracy in any room environment.

Acoustic Design

  • 3-way active design: Dedicated 305 mm (12") bass, 125 mm (5") midrange, and 25 mm (1") tweeter for optimized performance in each band
  • Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW): Precision directivity management for large-room imaging
  • Reflex-ported enclosure: Deep, controlled bass extension

SAM (Smart Active Monitoring)

GLM network connectivity (dual RJ45) enables room calibration with up to 16 correction filters per monitor. Level, delay, and bass management are automated through GLM software.
