Description

The Genelec 1234AC is a center-channel variant of the 1234A main monitor system, designed for large multichannel installations in film dubbing stages and immersive audio facilities. Featuring dual 305 mm bass drivers, 125 mm midrange, and 25 mm tweeter with 2150W from a remote RAM-XL amplifier, it delivers 125 dB of output with extension to 29 Hz. Available in VL, VR, HU, and HD orientation variants for flexible screen-adjacent installation.

Mounting Orientation

This unit ships with the DCW (Directivity Control Waveguide) factory pre-rotated for vertical mounting with bass drivers to the right of the DCW installation. The 1234AC is designed for flush mounting in either vertical or horizontal configuration. The midrange and treble drivers are always aligned vertically with the tweeter on top for optimal stereo symmetry, regardless of enclosure orientation. Order the orientation matching your installation to avoid on-site DCW rotation.
