Description

The Genelec 1032C is a 2-way SAM active monitor continuing Genelec's legendary 1032 lineage — a nearfield/midfield workhorse trusted by studios worldwide. Featuring a 250 mm bass driver and 25 mm tweeter with 400W of Class D amplification, the 1032C delivers 114 dB of output and bass extension to 33 Hz. SAM technology with GLM room calibration brings modern precision to this studio classic, making it suitable for mix rooms, mastering suites, and broadcast control rooms.

Acoustic Design

  • Large 2-way design: 250 mm (10") bass driver and 25 mm metal dome tweeter
  • Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW): Controls directivity for precise stereo imaging
  • Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE): Aluminium enclosure eliminates cabinet-induced colouration
  • Reflex port: Optimized for deep, accurate bass extension
  • Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS): Auto-standby when no signal is detected

SAM (Smart Active Monitoring)

The 1032C connects to Genelec's GLM network via dual RJ45 ports. Room response measurement and correction, level alignment, distance compensation, and bass management are performed automatically through GLM software.
