The Furman SS-6B-PRO takes everything that made the original SS-6B a staple of working musicians' rigs and adds Extreme Voltage Shutdown — the critical upgrade that keeps the unit (and all your gear) alive even when venue power runs dangerously high. When voltage exceeds 137 VAC, the SS-6B-PRO automatically cuts power to all six outlets and then self-restores once conditions stabilize, so you never have to sacrifice the unit to save your equipment. Built in the same heavy-duty metal 2×3 block format with a 15-foot cord, it's the definitive stage power block for professionals.
Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS)
- Auto-shutoff at 137 VAC: Instantly disconnects all outlets when line voltage exceeds safe levels — then automatically reconnects once the voltage returns to normal.
- Protects without sacrificing itself: Unlike basic surge suppressors that absorb the hit and burn out, EVS removes power before damage can occur to the unit or your gear.
