Description
The Furman PL-8C Power Conditioner protects your valuable electronic equipment from damaging voltage spikes and provides clean, noise-free AC power to your entire rig. The PL-8C harnesses Furman's revolutionary Series Mode Protection (SMP) circuit alongside Linear Filter Technology (LiFT) to deliver what is arguably the world's most advanced transient voltage surge suppression. Should voltage levels climb into the danger zone, the built-in Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) safely powers down the unit and all connected gear before damage can occur.
Protection Technologies
- Series Mode Protection (SMP): Absorbs and dissipates damaging transient voltages without sacrificing the unit itself — protection that survives the hit and stays on guard.
- Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT): Eliminates AC line noise and stops leakage current, so your audio and recording gear receives genuinely clean power.
- Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS): Monitors incoming voltage and automatically cuts power if levels exceed safe thresholds — then restores operation once stable.

- 9 switched outlets: Eight on the rear panel plus one on the front give you power where you need it most.
- Pull-out dimmable rack lights: Two multi-LED lamps slide out independently for hands-free illumination of the back of your rack.
- BNC rear-lamp socket: Accepts a standard gooseneck rack lamp (12VAC, 500mA max) for even more lighting flexibility.
