Description
The Furman M-8X AR is a 15-amp voltage regulator and power conditioner that actively maintains a stable 120V output (±5V) regardless of what comes out of the wall — making it an essential piece of gear for touring rigs, studios in older buildings, and any location where line voltage is unreliable. Plug it into any standard 15A outlet and it immediately starts compensating for sags, swells, and brownouts, ensuring every connected device receives the consistent power it was designed to run on.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
- True voltage regulation: Actively corrects incoming line voltage, outputting a stable 120V ± 5V regardless of input fluctuations across a 97–141V AC operating range.
- Protects against brownouts: Maintains output voltage during sags and brownouts that would otherwise cause equipment malfunction or data loss.
- Extreme Voltage Shutdown + Extreme Current Shutdown: Dual protection layers automatically remove power when voltage or current reaches unsafe levels.
Filtering & Surge Protection
- RFI/EMI filtration: Removes line noise before it reaches connected equipment, delivering cleaner power than the wall can provide on its own.
