Description
The Nexus Neptune Coffee Brown is an all-solid trembesi baby-jumbo acoustic-electric with a cutaway. Faith Nexus models are all-solid guitars that sit between the plain Naked series and Faith's PRO and Legacy models. They are built to be played and strummed hard, with a focus on the midrange. The Neptune is a baby-jumbo based on Patrick James Eggle's Saluda shape, with a 16" lower bout. It gives much of the volume of a full 17" jumbo in a body that is easier to hold.
Javanese trembesi gives a warm, balanced tone close to mahogany, and the Coffee Brown stain under a satin finish brings out its figure. It has cream ABS binding and a solid figured ebony pickguard. A Fishman Presys 2 preamp with an undersaddle piezo pickup gives a built-in tuner, EQ contour, phase switch and volume, and the output jack is part of the battery box panel at the base.
