Description
The EAW MKC120PL-WP is a 600W passive 2-way portable loudspeaker designed for professional audio applications that require high-output, compact sound reinforcement with exceptional pattern control. As part of the MKC series, the MKC120PL-WP takes coaxial loudspeaker technology to the next level, featuring the patented Concentric Summation Array (CSA) coaxial horn. This advanced technology delivers superior control, fidelity, and output, ensuring consistent tonality across the entire 90 x 60-degree coverage area, even at high SPL levels. With an IP56 rating, the MKC120PL-WP is specifically designed to withstand outdoor and challenging environments, making it an ideal choice for both permanent and temporary installations.
The MKC120PL-WP is built with a weather-resistant white finish, offering both durability and aesthetics. Its 12-inch low-frequency transducer and 1-inch exit compression driver with a 44mm voice coil deliver a wide frequency range from 48Hz to 20kHz, making it suitable for a variety of audio needs. The speaker is capable of producing a maximum SPL of 135 dB (12 dB crest factor) and 129 dB (6 dB crest factor), allowing it to fill large venues with clear, high-fidelity sound. The speaker also features a nominal beamwidth of 90 x 60 degrees, which is rotatable for flexible coverage, ensuring it can adapt to different acoustic requirements and spatial configurations.
The MKC120PL-WP is versatile in its deployment options. It can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientations using a pan & tilt wall bracket or U-bracket. Additionally, the speaker includes a pole stand mount with two available tilt positions, offering a wide range of installation possibilities. The integrated M10 mounting points, handle, and weather protection options further enhance its versatility and ease of use. It is also designed for use with EAW's UXA4403 amplifiers, providing optimal performance through advanced DSP processing with EAW Focusing and DynO technologies. The MKC120PL-WP ensures reliable, high-quality audio delivery across a wide range of professional audio applications.
