The Duesenberg Multibender - Pedal Steel Tones for Your Electric Guitar
The Multibender is our solution for creating realistic pedal steel tones on a regular electric guitar.
It features individually adjustable saddles and two levers that can raise or lower the pitch of a string by up to two semitones on a full press, depending on how the system is set up. Our roller system provides friction-free string guidance, helping the guitar remain perfectly in tune. The levers are commonly used on the G and B strings but can be positioned behind any string. Additional levers can also be installed if needed. However, we recommend using no more than three levers, as operating the Multibender may otherwise become impractical. Additional levers are available separately. The standard version comes with two levers.
Recommended tuning: E B E G# B E, 2nd string B to C#, 3rd string G# to A.
The Multibender will fit most flat-top guitars, such as Strat-style and Tele-style instruments, without requiring any major modifications.
