Description
Starting in Germany in the 16th Century the mandola has impacted music for centuries. And now we have continued the tradition in the Duesenberg way.
Features
- Chambered Construction: A solid body that features big sound chambers for enhanced tone and weight reduction. Particularly characteristic tone somewhere between a solid and semi-hollow construction.
- Pickups: The LittleToaster Mini-Humbucker at the bridge and the VintageClass Singlecoil at the neck position are a dream team when it comes to open and transparent tone with a lot of clarity.
- Plek Processed: A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
Jingle Jangle
The Mando 12-String delivers the beautiful and brilliant tone that is usually associated with Mandolins or Mandolas but plays like a small 12-string guitar in standard tuning. This means you can use all of your existing guitar skills to bring a completely new spin to your music.
Pickups
The Mando is equipped with a Duesenberg VintageClass singlecoil for the neck and a LittleToaster mini-humbucker for the bridge position. This combination makes the Mando’s sound incomparably brilliant and provides it with enough charm to break open the gates of heaven in nearly any musical context or genre. The Little Toaster and VintageClass pickups are precisely right for this kind of penetrating sound, which possesses bell-like clarity and brightness in every band context.
