Description
Made from Mahogany & Maple, the new Starplayer CBR is a distinct addition to the Starplayer family.
Delivering vibrant, warm and powerful tones, the CBR brings something new to the table for all lovers of the Starplayer design language.
Features
- Tonal Character: A chambered Mahogany body, combined with a flat flamed Maple top and Maple neck delivers a warm and powerful tone enriched with the typical Duesenberg sparkle.
- Dream Team Pickups: The Starplayer CBR is fitted with the extremely versatile pickup combination of a bright Grand Vintage humbucker in the bridge position and a warm and creamy Domino P90 by the neck.
- Plek Processed: A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
What is the Starplayer CBR?
Retaining the aesthetics of the celebrated Starplayer design, the Starplayer CBR brings you a new and unique tonal response through a chambered Mahogany body, one-piece Maple neck and flat Maple top.
- It comes with our newly designed Diamond Prestige Tremola unit featuring an elegant flat-arm design, as well as our new Flextone+ 5-Way wiring.
- The Starplayer CBR comes in five exclusive colors, all featuring a transparent brown back and elegant flamed Maple top.
- Catalina Green | Transparent Black Burst | Vintage Burst | Transparent Vintage Orange | Transparent Honey
Super-Smooth Duesenberg Z-Tuners with Blood-Guard string post.
Duesenberg Grand Vintage Humbucker and Domino P90 Pickups.
Duesenberg Design Diamond Prestige Flat-Arm Tremola.
Transparent brown Mahogany back with top binding.
Aside from the three regular pickup positions, the Flextone+ wiring offers two more in-between combinations at the flick of a switch.
Referencing the early days of Duesenberg, the brand new Diamond Prestige Tremola features an elegant flat arm design. Additionally, the new Flextone+ wiring sets you up with five totally unique and practical sounds from the two pickups.
The Dream Team
Duesenberg Pickups are known for their distinct, clear and versatile tone that easily cuts through the mix from mellow Jazz to supercharged Rock.
Our creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate. The acclaimed middle position of the heavy duty 3-way switch features a special wiring that filters certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile addition to your pallete of tone.
