Playdifferently is known for making extremely high-quality creative instrumental tools for performing and mixing music.
In 2017, they came through with the MODEL 1, which was developed and engineered by Andy Rigby-Jones and co-designed by Richie Hawtin. The MODEL is the 4-channel baby brother to the MODEL 1; a purely analogue mixer featuring technology normally found in the finest studio consoles.
It is commonly used as live DJ mixing equipment with its mixer capabilities. Full of knobs and faders for EQ, filters, levels and syncopation it is crucial you protect them from any unwanted spill or damages. After all, you’ve invested a lot into one of these machines.
For that problem, we have researched, designed and engineered a super-tough but lightweight polycarbonate lid that protects from dust, liquid and impact for the MODEL 1.4. It shields delicate sliders, knobs and internal components from damage at home, on the road and on stage.
