Description
D16 Redoptor 2 is a vintage tube distortion plugin that models the dynamics and harmonic behavior of overdriven tube circuits. Louder signals push into richer saturation and recover smoothly as they decay, closer to a real tube amp than a static solid-state clipper.
Dynamics and Tone Shaping
A pre-gain compressor shapes how hard the tube stage is driven, and a master output limiter controls peaks after distortion. Adjustable high/low prefilters can sit before or after the tube stage, and a 4-band parametric EQ provides independent gain and frequency control for each band. Tube bias adds even-harmonic content and gentle transient reshaping.
