Description
D16 Nepheton 2 is a drum machine plugin that synthesizes the classic TR-808 instrument set rather than playing samples. Seventeen modules capture the boom and bite of the original circuits, with deeper tone and envelope controls plus a full effects and sequencing workflow for modern production.
Channel Strips and Sequencing
Each instrument has filters, 2-band parametric EQ, and dynamics, with sends to two FX buses or the master bus. The sequencer includes flam and substep articulations, tap input, randomizer, drag-and-drop MIDI export, and flexible trigger modes. Master processing includes a 3-band compressor and limiter with soft-clip, and audible trigger outputs are available for electro-style pulse sounds.
