Canare L-4E6S Star Quad Microphone Cable 100m Spool (Black)

Canare L-4E6S is the original star quad microphone cable, supplied here on a 100m spool in black. Four 24 AWG conductors (40 strands of 0.08 mm each) are twisted together at a 20 mm pitch so that the two pairs occupy the smallest possible loop area. Electromagnetic noise induced into the cable is cancelled by the geometry, and Canare rates the result at one tenth the noise of a general-purpose two-conductor shielded cable.

Around the quad sits a 94 percent coverage braided copper shield, cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a matte PVC jacket that stays flexible in extreme cold. At 6.0 mm outer diameter it fits every standard XLR connector. Handheld microphones, stage snakes built from single runs, and long line-level interconnects next to lighting dimmers are the typical uses.
