Description

Canare's variety of 75 ohm coaxial cables support full-range of video formats. Our cutting-edge Super Low Loss Coax and Low Loss Coax are ideal for 3G-SDI / HD-SDI distribution.

Features

  • Multi-layer insulation in which to each layer is given a different foaming ratio is used to increase strength.
  • Tinned copper braid with aluminum foil brings excellent shielding.
  • Flame resistance UL 1666 Riser (L-2.5CHD, L-4CHD, L-4.5CHD, and L-5CHD).

L-4.5CHD is a Super Coax from Canare's L-CHD series, built for 3G-SDI and HD-SDI in fixed installations. A solid 18 AWG (1.02 mm) copper center conductor sits inside highly foamed multi-layer polyethylene, under an aluminium foil and a 91 percent tinned copper braid. Attenuation is 25.1 dB per 100 m at 1.5 GHz. Canare designed it for fixed installation, so avoid repeated bending or external pressure, and terminate it with the BCP-B53 crimp plug.
