Each of the two 25 AWG conductors is 16 strands of 0.12 mm copper, twisted at a 25 mm pitch under a 100 percent aluminium foil shield with a drain wire, cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a PVC jacket. At 3.2 mm outer diameter and 1.3 kg per 100 m it is the cable for console harnesses, patchbay wiring and anywhere a braided cable would be too thick to route.
