Description
The Canare F-12 is a 3.5 mm stereo TRS mini phone plug with the tough one-piece body design that Canare uses across its phone plug range. It is a solder plug intended for cable up to 6.0 mm in outer diameter, so it terminates Canare L-4E5C star quad, L-2T2S and similar mic and line cables cleanly.
The cable clamp system is the reason these plugs last: the strain relief grips the jacket, not the solder joints, so flexing at the plug does not work the conductors loose. The knurled metal body gives a secure grip when unplugging from a headphone output, portable recorder or camera audio input.
