Description
The Canare BCP-A4 is a 75 ohm BNC crimp plug from the BCP-A series, made for Canare LV-61S video coaxial cable. It also fits Belden 8241 and 8279 and other RG-59B/U types. The A series is the standard Canare BNC for analog video, SD-SDI and HD-SDI work, and it shares the crimp system, tools and boots used across the whole Canare BNC range.
The gold plated center pin snaps into the insulator so it stays put while you crimp the sleeve, and the die-cast body is elongated so it is easy to grip and remove from a busy patch panel. A position mark on the body shows whether the plug is locked. Strip with a Canare stripper, crimp with a Canare TC-1 tool and the matching die, and the connector is finished.
