Description
The Canare BCJ-MVP converts a BNC female jack to a Mini-WECO plug. It was designed for the Canare 32MD-ST and 32MD-STS mid-size 75 ohm video patchbays, so a standard BNC cable can be patched straight into a mini-WECO jack field without a dedicated patch cord. Canare recommends pairing it with a Slim BNC plug, because a normal BNC body will not clear the neighbouring jacks on the 12.7 mm patchbay pitch.
Return loss is 26 dB or better up to 3 GHz, which covers 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI. The center contacts are gold plated for low contact resistance over many patch cycles.
