Description
The Canare BCJ-JK is a 75 ohm BNC jack to jack extension adapter rated for 12G-SDI. Use it to join two BNC-terminated cables in line, to extend a run without cutting and re-terminating, or to bring a cable through a bulkhead. It replaces the earlier BCJ-J and keeps the same form factor.
The center contact is gold plated beryllium copper, chosen for its spring characteristics so the adapter keeps a firm contact after repeated mating. Return loss is 26 dB or better at 3 GHz and 15 dB or better at 12 GHz, which is what a 4K UHD single-link signal needs to pass through an adapter without adding jitter.
