Description
As Springs shifts to Summer, the bird choirs change to solitary signals and thunder rolls across the hills as the cicadas sing their farewells into the night and the wolves gather for their hunt.
The character of the EUROPEAN SUMMER focuses on capturing the spirit of Europe’s summer in stunning detail. The season in Europe expresses itself through its different and unique birds, wolves, insects, weather, and much more.
EXPERIENCE THE ENCHANTING REALM OF NATURE
The great outdoors is in full activity and evokes the beauty of Europe’s natural atmospheres. With the rains of the north balanced by softly rustling leaves in the Mediterranean winds, this library provides a surprisingly diverse ecosystem, rich with unique sonic life.
From the flowing waters of Europe’s highest waterfall to the buzzing calls of the migratory nightjar in Sweden, the soft winds and growling thunder of a brewing summer storm – the landscape provides a unique palette of sounds that truly set EUROPEAN SUMMER apart.
COMPLETE AND TOTAL IMMERSION
Recorded in stunning 360° using a Schoeps ORTF3D Set, listeners are brought into the all-enveloping world of the European countryside. All the included sounds were perfectly balanced by our skilled recordist, who scoped out the perfect places and waited for the right times to be completely free from human noise, capturing nature’s hidden gems like the whistled beep of a scops owl.
STEREO VERSION INCLUDED
The stereo version features identical sound material as the 3D version. It is also included when you buy the 3D Surround set.
